History

Lasting for decades the name Messner stands for high quality technology and innovative products.

The company was founded 1970 by Ernst-Günter Messner who initially started his trading with technical products. Within a short period of time, the company began its production of pumps and fittings for specialized machinery.

In 1976 the first water gardening products were designed. From that time on we keep constantly developing new products in order to improve the satisfaction of our customers in the whole range of water gardening.

Our first pump line was developed and successfully introduced to the market in 1994, a decisive step in the company’s history. The first generation of fountain pumps that Messner launched, covered only a few types.
From there on the family of Messner pumps grew continuously within a short period of time to a broad diversified, versatile range of powerful garden pond pumps from 500 l/h up to 40.000 l/h. Meanwhile there is a convenient Messner pump for every application you may have in mind. Herewith we succeeded in offering a broad selection of fountain-, filter- and pond pumps.

At present our assortment contains in addition to the pump program a great variety of fountain jets, pond filter systems with UV-C spots for the preten-tious pond owners, lighting, water displays and a wide range of other accessories.

Our purpose is the technical perfection around the garden pond. The quality of the products is hereby our first priority to achieve the customer’s satisfaction. Permanent quality controls ensure a level of maximum quality and safety.

In 1988 the subsidiary company „Messner Nederland B.V.“ was established. (at present „Messner Benelux B.V.). Eight years later „DG Agriline Messner“ in Illfurth, France was founded and 1998 there was the third affiliated company „Messner Belgie B.V.“ in Meerhout, Belgie. These companies promote successfully the distribution of our products in their countries and the continuous growing in the market place.

Our company‘s headquarter located in Kalletal (Germany) has presently a total number of 50 employees.

With innovative products and 30 years of experience Messner is a successful and growing company for water gardening in Germany worldwide.
